That’s a wrap! I taught my last yoga class of 2025 yesterday 🧘‍♀️.

I'm so grateful for the opportunities this year has brought me. From teaching football coaches at St. George’s Park, to chair yoga at Birmingham Disability Festival, retreat days, 1:1 sessions, and regular weekly classes with the gorgeous @yoga_borne crew 🥰.

Having taught for just a few years, I’m very aware of how early I still am on this journey, but it has been a deeply fulfilling one so far, and it's just the start! My physio career has taught me the value of building experience through time, practice, and people - and of continually learning, unlearning, and relearning 🤓.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me or come to practice with me. And special thanks to @karine.annick and the @yoga_borne community for giving me the space to explore my style and grow in confidence as a teacher 🙏

Many of you started 'following' me when I was 'Natrins Physio & Yoga'. So I want to share that I’m no longer offering private physio or sports massage. Running my own clinic was an incredible experience, but alongside full-time physio work, I chose to prioritise creating space for more teaching.

I’ll still be blending my physio and yoga skills, with some exciting new offerings coming in 2026. First up: the launch of my online classes 🥳. Thank you so much to everyone who’s shown interest so far - details coming very soon 👀.

As we zoom towards the festive break, I am feeling the tension rise for some of us 😬

Ahhh Christmas... every year we are sold festive cheer and magical moments - and if that is what you are getting this season then fantastic.

But, for many people, behind the scenes it can look quite different... poor financial health 👎, toxic relationships 👎, and if you don't celebrate Christmas it can feel forced upon you as the country gets turned upside down 🙃

With that in mind, the theme in my classes this week is back, neck and shoulder mobility 😅. Yep, we are working out as much of that festive tension as possible! 🧘‍♀️

Join me this week @yoga_borne for the last Thurs eve Slow Flow Warm (6.15pm) and Fri Flow (9.30am) of 2026. In studio and online.

I am covering Flow for @firefly.yoga.hannah Sun 28th 9.30am, and then I am back 2nd Jan 2026 for Friday Flow 9.30am. Check out the YB page for Christmas hours, business as usual from 2nd Jan xx

And of course we have the wonderful Friday 'Flow' crew at 9.30am Friday 5th.

And if you hadn't guessed, this week we are of course practicing Moon Sals to celebrate the Cold Moon 🌚.

Come and shake off all that tension from the week, as we align body and mind - the best way to end the week! Can't wait to see you all 😘🤍

For so many of us, our sedentary lives limit how much we use our full hip range of movement and power. This can show up as hip stiffness, back pain and knee issues.

Whilst I don't subscribe to the belief that emotions are stored in your hips, I do know that regularly working your hips is going to make you feel bloody brilliant 💃🏽

Ardha Chandrasana / Half Moon 🌗

When I first started yoga, my balance was SO poor, I could barely stand on 2 legs, let alone 1 🫠

I always used to dread when Ardha Chandrasana would get dropped in class, and felt like I would never be able to do it 😖. But I worked hard (and still have to with all my balance postures), and now it's a firm fave ✔️.

Asana that come easy are never as satisfying IMO 💅

My class theme this week is balance ⚖️, with a bit of a love letter to half moon. There are sooo many variations of this pose; just the smallest change of leg/arm position, a head turn, or a more challenging bind, can take this from kind-of-comfortable, to extremely challenging. It's a great one to play with, to build mind-body connection, as well as balance, strength and flexibility. Its got it allllll going on ✔️✔️✔️

So expect to see 1, or more of these variations in class this week ⚖️🌙💫
